I cried for the man
Who was killed abroad
In a war that was not his.
I cried for the toddler
Who was found face down
In the family pool.
I cried for the mom
Who was staying clean
In the fight for her children.
I turned off the news
And set the remote down
And walked out of the room.
Now that, is beautiful, and beyond that, so very very sad. :/
